After a few days of traveling around Seattle and eating nothing but heavy and greasy foods, we were craving something comforting and more palatable. This noodle house hit the spot SO hard my eyes practically rolled in the back of my head when I took my first sip of soup. I've been checking out more Cambodian restaurants recently and I must say, it's quickly shot up as one of my favorite cuisines. They have a good-sized menu from appetizers, soupy or dry noodles, entrees and grilled dishes. Between the 5 of us, we got to try a few things: * Hay Cung - 4/5 - Mix of ground shrimp and pork all wrapped up in a thin bean curd wrap, lightly fried. It also comes with a dipping sweet/savory dipping sauce. Texture was good, light crunch with the ground meat center. * Chicken Wings - 5/5 - Absolute favorite! The sweet black pepper garlic sauce they covered the wings with was incredibly umami and delectable. * Bone Soup - 5/5 - Available in full or half portion. The broth was rich and flavorful, like a warm hug in a bowl. It comes with a large pork bone with plenty of meat to pick off from it. We added on a side order of mixed egg and rice noodles with wonton and fish cake, which came with a sweet soy sauce that tied everything together nicely. * Special Rice Noodle - 4/5 - Noodles in a broth with fish balls, fish cake, and ground pork. You can pick what type of noodles so we went for the wide noodles which were chewy and satisfying. This broth was different than the bone broth. It was decent but would've much preferred it with the bone broth.

Visited a few weekends ago with friends during Wing Luke Museum Lunar New Year kick off. We spent some time at the museum and then walked over to Phnom Penh for lunch I had a gift certificate I had won from a giveaway. One of my friends had been to the restaurant the other hadn't. We knew we wanted to get the Phnom Penh Chicken Wings one of my friends can't have really spicy food dir to medical reasons they offered the option of leaving the Jalapeños out of the dish so she could enjoy them as well. In ordered the Sa-gnao Jruok Ktiss prawns and my friends both had I believe the Phnom Penh Special Rice Noodle one had broth on the side to dip. Wings are always a winner! My dish was a sour soup flavored with coconut and lemongrass you can add noodles if you want but I selected not to. The broth was delicious great depth of flavor. if you are not a mushroom person this dish isn't for you as it has lots of button mushrooms. Luckily I like mushrooms. My friends both tried my broth and enjoyed it. They both loved their dish as well. Service is always great here friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are. They check in with you when you walk and keep you informed when a table will be opening up soon we didn't have to wait too long for a table at 12:30 on a Saturday glad we got in when we did though cause the line got longer after we were seating. Well lit space, light wood. There is a bar towards the front with a few stools the rest of the space there are tables and both the length of the restaurant. Nice open space. If you're interested in trying Cambodian cuisine this is one of the places to try in Seattle three siblings own it after taking over for their parents been in business for about 30 years.

We ordered 3 different soup dishes. Every one was unique and tasty. And the content was fulfilling with lots of meat, veggies and noodles (for me, my wife skipped the noodles and replaced it with veggies). The server was the owner I think. She was extremely friendly, and helpful with sorting out what to order (since we don't go to Cambodian restaurants that often). I would come back to try the other soups and dishes. We got bone soup, the foursome beef soup and the Goonam noodle soup. I'll be back to try the others... After the meal, we were pleased to learn that the price was very reasonable.

We stopped by Phnom Penh Noodle House for lunch during while visiting Seattle. Cold weather is time for noodle soups. The dishes here hit the mark, with the warming comfort of hot broth and Southeast Asian spices. Had the Cambodian Sate Beef and Goo Nam Noodle Soup, and would highly recommend either one of those.

Solid place to get Asian food in International District. We got the wonton soup, Lok Lack (marinated steak cubes), and Cha-Ung Jom-Nee Sacho Aing (Grilled beef short ribs) and they were all delicious. The outside of the restaurant makes you feel like you're going to another hole-in-the-wall, but the inside is surpassingly modern and new. It feels very clean and modern but also warm and friendly. The service was good. We didn't wait too long to order and the food came promptly.

Craving heart-warming, belly-filling food with relaxed vibes on a chilly day? This would be the spot to check out! We had the Phnom Penh Special and the Goo Nam Noodle - both had great depth of flavor and were generous portions. Service was warm and welcoming, a really lovely lunch time experience!

Phnom Penh Noodle House!! I really like coming here for some Khmer food! It's out of the way for us, but I would definitely come back and I hope that you all would come try their food. The place it self is very nice, roomy, and clean. Everyone who works there is so nice and their menu makes it easier for the customers to make a choice. We orders the Phnom Penh chicken wings, pra-hot ktiss, and Mee katang with beef. These three items were very good with lots of flavor! You will not regret trying this. Yummm

** Visited on 7/7/2024 I genuinely enjoyed my visit here to Phnom Penh Noodle House - the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Despite dealing with our large group of 24, they were so sweet and made sure to check in with everyone. Seriously, shout out to the staff here, they made the experience so fun and welcoming. The restaurant itself was cozy and small, BUT the food is SO GOOD and worth it. There's street parking available, but there's also a parking lot where parking was pretty cheap ( I want to say it was 1 hour = $5?). OKAY THE FOOD: I'll be very honest when I say I don't remember what we had ordered, only that I loved each and every dish we had ordered and left the restaurant in a wonderful food coma. Their noodle dishes were all so tasty, and their fried chicken wings were cooked perfectly - crispy but still juicy! The food here was like a homemade meal, it didn't miss at all. I'd recommend stopping by and supporting this restaurant :-).

If you're looking for a light and comforting place, I would recommend this restaurant. In the corner of the apartment, so might be hard to miss I wish the location was a bit more convenient but it's close enough to main ID area Service was good, very attentive and they're speaking Cantonese which is a welcoming plus Food itself was good, i did not know what to expect ordering Cambodian but the noodle soup was really light, with a hint of fish sauce. If you're looking for a place with great service, and light broth that would make you full, this place has my recommendation
